About Greenlead

OUR ORGANIZATION

Greenlead is a registered NGO dedicated to empowering young people to tackle today’s key environmental challenges, including climate change, waste management, and sustainability. We focus on building capacity to inspire action, drive advocacy, shape policy, and create job opportunities for a sustainable and inclusive Africa.

Through our African Climate Leaders Fellowship and other initiatives, we aim to equip young leaders with the skills to develop innovative, sustainable solutions that impact communities across the continent.

CAPACITY BUILDING

We provide comprehensive climate science, policy, and advocacy training programs, enabling young Africans to effectively address climate challenges. Our training programs, workshops, and conferences focus on practical skills such as project management, leadership, and community engagement, ensuring participants can translate knowledge into action.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

We support young innovators and entrepreneurs by offering mentorship, funding opportunities, and platforms to showcase their climate solutions. Greenlead amplifies the voices of African youth in global climate discourse, advocating for policies that reflect their perspectives and needs

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Our projects promote sustainable practices at the grassroots level, from clean energy initiatives to sustainable agriculture and waste management. We collaborate with local communities to develop and implement climate resilience strategies, ensuring inclusivity and long-term sustainability.

ADVOCACY AND AWARENESS
