The African Climate Leaders Fellowship Cohort 1 received 628 applications from 32 African countries, out of which 203 were selected by our selection algorithm. Greenlead, in partnership with Clean Recycling Initiative through the International Sustainability Marketing Competition, has also instituted the Africa Award Category, which allows Fellows to participate by submitting various projects targeted at promoting environmental sustainability for the winning prize. Our partnerships with Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), CENS Africa, B.ISA, and AImpactful are also essential in building the capacity of Fellows.
