Module 5: Community Engagement & Partnership Building

Over the weekend, Greenlead facilitated an impactful session as part of the African Climate Leaders Fellowship (ACLF), focused on strengthening community engagement to inspire climate action. The session, moderated by one of our dedicated team members Thamar Victoria Afedu-Annan was led by Mr.Clement Abaidoo, the Executive Director of CENS Africa.

Clement shared his vast experience and expertise on the crucial topic of Community Engagement & Partnership Building.

During the 4-hour session, participants gained an in-depth understanding of the key concepts of community, engagement, and partnership, and explored practical ways to apply these frameworks to their climate action projects. The session emphasized how building meaningful partnerships and engaging communities can significantly enhance the impact and sustainability of climate initiatives.

What made this session truly special was the active participation of the ACLF fellows, who shared their diverse experiences from different parts of Africa. These insights sparked thoughtful discussions and provided real-world examples of how community collaboration and strategic partnerships can lead to positive environmental change.

At Greenlead, we are committed to equipping climate leaders with the knowledge, skills, and networks they need to lead effectively and implement solutions that protect our planet for future generations.
